Hackett // Spring Summer 2013 // London Collections: Men
The Great Gatsby was a clear inspiration for this tailored British collection. It definitely made me think of midsummer parties, and the season. It was exactly what we expected from Jeremy Hackett. Opening with whites, creams before moving into traditional upper class pastels and a selection of paisleys that were to me quite directional for the brand.
Overall I really liked the collection, it pushed the brand whilst still being true to its’s heritage.
Oh and I always love a finalé made of a swarm of models, make them suited, booted with bowler hats and you’re definitely going to impress me.
